Devshayani Ekadashi Fast

Ekadashi of Ashada Shuklapaksha is known as 'Padma Ekadashi', 'Padmanabha Ekadashi' and 'Devshayani Ekadashi'. On Devshayani Ekadashi, after performing rituals like other Ekadashis, a holy act called Devshayan should also be performed. Under this, the Deity of Lord Vishnu should be bathed with Panchamrit and worshiped with incense-lamps etc., after that Lord Vishnu should be made to sleep by laying a bed made of gold-silver etc. on top of the bed and laying a yellow colored silk cloth on it.
