Hera Panchami

Hera Panchami is celebrated on Ashada Shukla Panchami. This year it is being celebrated on 23 June. It falls on the fourth or fifth day of the Rath Yatra. This festival is especially celebrated in Odisha. The festival of Hera Panchami is celebrated during Rathotsav in Puri. On this day, Lakshmi ji angrily goes to Gundicha area and while returning, harms the chariot and returns to Srimandir via Heragauhari Sai.
