Janaki Navami (Sita Navami)

On Vaishakh Shukla Navami Tuesday, when Maharaja Janak was plowing the land with a plow in Pushya Nakshatra, then Mother Sita appeared from the ground with the tip of the plow. She was called 'Sita' due to her appearance from the plow line. Janaki Navami is celebrated every year on Vaishakh Shukla Navami. On this day Vaishnavas observe fast and worship Mother Janaki along with her attendants. The fasting should take a vow of fasting and worship for the sake of Mother Janaki after take a bath in the morning. After that, he should worship Sitaram ji along with father Janak ji, mother Sunayana, family priest Shatanand ji, Plow and Prithvi Mata by setting up a statue or picture on a post. First of all, worshiping Lord Ganesha and Ambika and worshiping Mother Janaki should be done. The following Dhyan Mantras should be chanted in the worship:
Mother Janaki's Dhyan (माता जानकी का ध्यान)
ताटंकमण्डलविभूषितगण्डभागां
चूडामणिप्रभृतिमण्डनमण्डिताम्।
कौशेयवस्त्रमणिमौक्तिकहारयुक्तां
ध्यायेद विदेहतनयां शशिगौरवर्णाम्।।
Janak's Dhyan (पिता जनक जी का ध्यान)
देवी पद्मालया साक्षादवतीर्णा यदालये।
मिथिलापतये तस्मै जनकाय नमो नमः।।
Dhyan of Mother Sunayana (माता सुनयना का ध्यान)
सीताया जननी मातर्महिषी जनकस्य च।
पूजां गृहाण मद्दत्तां महाबुद्धे नमोऽस्तु ते।।
Dhyan of Family Priest Shatanand Ji (कुल पुरोहित शतानन्द जी का ध्यान)
निधानं सर्वविद्यानां विद्वत्कुलविभूषणम्।
जनकस्य पुरोधास्त्वं शतानन्दाय ते नमः।।
Plow Dhyan (हल का ध्यान)
जीवयस्यखिलं विश्वं चालयन् वसुधातलम्।
प्रादुर्भावयसे सीतां सीर तुभ्यं नमोऽस्तु ते।।
Dhyan of The Earth (पृथ्वी का ध्यान)
त्वयैवोत्पादितं सर्वं जगदेतच्चराचरम्।
त्वमेवासि महामाया मुनीनामपि मोहिनी।।
त्वदायत्ता इमे लोकाः श्रीसीतावल्लभा परा।
वन्दनीयासि देजवानां सुभगे त्वां नमाम्यहम्।।
After that the above deities should be worshiped with various Pooja Materials. In the end, Aarti should be performed with the following Mantra:
कदलीगर्भसम्भूतं कर्पूरं च प्रदीपितम्।
आरातिर्क्यमहं कुर्वे पश्य मे वरदा भव।।
परिकरसहितश्रीजानकीरामाभ्यां नमः।
कर्पूरारातिर्क्यं समर्पयामि।।
In the end, Janaki Stotra should be recited by offering flowers with apologizing.
