Shri Mahavir Jayanti is a great festival of Jains. It is celebrated every year on Chaitra Shukla Trayodashi, the birthday of Mahavir Swami, the last Tirthankara of Jains. Mahavir Swami is considered the 24th Tirthankara in Jainism. This festival has great importance among the followers of Jainism.
