The conqueror of the senses and the mind...

One who first conquers the mind with the senses as an enemy, then if he desires to conquer the ministers and enemies, then he gets success.

Lakshmi does a lot of service to the patient who conquers the senses and the mind, punishes the criminals and works after examining them.

Rajan! The human body is the chariot, the intellect is the charioteer and the senses are its horses. A clever and patient man, who is careful by subduing them, travels happily like a charioteer with horses under control.

As untrained and uncontrollable horses kill a foolish charioteer on the way, similarly these senses are capable of killing a man if they are not controlled.

Due to the lack of control of the senses, considering meaning as misfortune and misfortune as meaning, an ignorant person considers even great sorrow as happiness.
