This festival of worship of cows and calves by women falls on the day of Bhadrapada Krishna Dwadashi. This month it is falling on 24th. This festival is done for the good wishes of the son. Daughter-in-law women do this. In this the idols of cow, calf, tiger and tigress are made of clay and they are worshipped. Also the cow and the calf are worshipped. There is a law to not eat cow's milk, curd, wheat and rice on this day.

स्त्रियों द्वारा गाय और बछड़ों के पूजन का यह त्योहार भाद्रपद कृष्ण द्वादशी के दिन आता है। इस माह यह 24 तारीख को पड़ रहा है। यह त्योहार पुत्र की मंगल कामना के लिए किया जाता है। इसे पुत्रवती स्त्रियाँ करती हैं। इसमें गाय, बछड़ा, बाघ और बाघिन की मूिर्तयाँ मिट्टी से बनायी जाती हैं और उनकी पूजा की जाती है। साथ ही गाय और बछड़े की पूजा की जाती है। इस दिन गाय का दूध, दही, गेहूँ और चावल नहीं खाने का विधान है।
